I wanted to take a moment to acknowledge the excellence and professionalism and quality builds I have received during my multiple transactions with Elevated Silence. I had the benefit of being one of the earlier recipients of a 556 can. I was so impressed with the build quality and performance that I decided to obtain a 30-cal one for my 300-Blackouts. Again, I was extremely impressed, as were my SF buddies when they got to shoot the setup I created using your can. Quiet, accurate, fun and consistent were just a few of the comments I received. From those initial purchases I went to buy a 22-can and then a 9mm can, and well, I just kept going. More 556-cans and 22's etc. Honestly, I should probably count how many Elevated Silence Cans I have before ordering more, but hey, what's the fun in that! As you can tell I'm a big fan and can't wait to see what the ES team has planned next.

This has to be the best suppressor for 5.56 I have used. The sound reduction, flash reduction and low gas blow back is unprecedented. I have used this on several of my ARs from 12.5”- 14.5” and am amazed at how quiet it is. This is my go to suppressor for my rifles.

The Dura HD is now my go-to suppressor. I recently taught an AR class and shot the Dura HD against my Surefire RC2; every single person in the class was blown away. The low back pressure and tone of the suppressor makes it very pleasant to shoot. The Dura HD keeps the rifle on target with minimal movement, no point of impact shift after removing it and remounting the suppressor.

There are so many positive things to say about this suppressor, that this will be tough to do without writing a novel. Its important to note than I am not a stranger to shooting suppressed. The group that I train with on a regular basis have been around the block a few times, and they are seasoned pro’s when it comes to suppressors. It’s is very difficult to surprise them with high quality gear or equipment that they haven’t already seen. Welcome to the Dura HD suppressor! This can turned all of their heads immediately. The whisker quiet tone is the first thing to get your attention. It’s insanely quiet…. It’s the quietest can that I have shot to date! Not only is it quiet, but it’s not gassy in the slightest bit. Whether it’s in my 11.5” barrel in the shoot house, or on my 16” barrel, I do not get any gas in my eyes whatsoever. Its signature reduction is fantastic also. The Dura HD literally checks every box. It’s also bomb proof !! It’s a top shelf, tier one suppressor that I fully expect to see win large scale contracts. It turns heads every where I go.

Shooting suppressed is the ONLY way to go these days. People can actually get visibly upset when people aren’t shooting suppressed at the range. When looking for a suppressor, I ask myself “what is this suppressor for?” Range time? Hunting? Inside of a vehicle/shoot house? There is no such thing as a suppressor that simply does it all, but the Elevated Silence DURA HD 556 is pretty darn close. The first thing you’ll notice is the weight of it. It is pretty heavy, but to be honest, I have been running mine on a 16” gas gun and the weight is honestly not that noticeable. What IS noticeable is the little amount of gas you get in your face. If you’ve shot suppressed much at all, you know what I’m talking about. With some suppressors, you get so much gas blowback that it’s hard to shoot more than a few shots at the time. The DURA HD 556 makes shooting with a can so much more enjoyable. The main point of shooting suppressed is to mitigate sound. This can does a great job of that. I just spent the weekend shooting prairie dogs out west, and my buddy made the comment that this suppressor is pretty darn quiet compared to others we’ve used before. Finally, people are always worried about getting their suppressor too hot, which with other manufacturers that’s a valid point. With the DURA HD 556 you honestly don’t have to worry about it. When testing, we heated it to red hot by dumping 8-10 mags through it and didn’t have a single baffle strike. Once it cooled, we inspected it and saw zero damage, we then went back to shooting and it worked just as well as when we started. I’ve used and tested quite a few different suppressors and I can truly say that the Elevated Silence DURA HD 556 is the best of the best.

I love the Dura HD. I have only had this suppressor for a few months so I only have several hundred rounds through it currently. I am left handed and have this on a DI pistol (I’ve also shot it on a rifle). I do not have an adjustable gas system on either of these. On my hosts, I have not had any malfunctions, I do not notice a crazy amount of blow back (remember I’m left handed), and do not have a zero shift on either weapon. Elevated Silence is great. I can’t wait to see what they come up with next.
